CHRISTIAN CAMARGO RETURNS TO NARRATE IN DARK, GRIPPING DEXTER PREQUEL: THE ICE TRUCK KILLER

Brian and Dexter in Dexter

One of Dexter’s most haunting figures is stepping back into the spotlight — not as the killer we once feared, but as the broken young man he once was.

Paramount+ has officially announced The Ice Truck Killer, a chilling 10-episode prequel series premiering in July 2025, set in the neon-soaked streets of 1991 Miami. And in a thrilling return, Christian Camargo, who originally portrayed Brian Moser, will narrate the series — guiding viewers through the mind of one of television’s most unforgettable villains.

FROM BROTHER TO MONSTER: THE ORIGIN OF BRIAN MOSER

2-23

Before he became the meticulous and terrifying Ice Truck Killer, Brian Moser was just another lost soul. At 22 years old, recently aged out of foster care and left with no family or future, Brian is adrift — angry, damaged, and dangerously alone.

Played by Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard, young Brian is a powder keg of suppressed trauma and growing darkness. As the series unfolds, we witness his descent into violence, manipulation, and obsession. But this isn’t just a tale of brutality — it’s a psychological character study, an intimate look at the making of a monster.

THE VOICE IN THE DARK: CAMARGO RETURNS

Camargo’s return isn’t just fan service — it’s a stroke of genius. His voice, both calm and chilling, will narrate the events of Brian’s youth from a retrospective lens. It’s as if the killer himself is recounting the steps that led to his transformation, turning the entire series into a confessional of sorts. Every word, every pause, every moment of silence is heavy with dread — and impossible to ignore.

A NEW CORNER OF THE DEXTER UNIVERSE

The Ice Truck Killer is part of Paramount+’s bold expansion of the Dexter universe, following the announcements of Dexter: Original Sin and Dexter: Resurrection — the latter premiering just days earlier, on July 11, 2025. But where those shows dive into Dexter’s own journey, this series explores the other side of the mirror — the brother left behind, and the monster he became.

With stunning period detail, haunting visuals, and a haunting score that pulses like a heartbeat, The Ice Truck Killer promises to be as stylish as it is disturbing. It’s a world of neon lights and blood-stained tile floors, of quiet moments twisted by madness.

It’s not just about how Brian Moser killed.
It’s about why.
